Fused cast AZS block Introduction
Fused cast AZS block also named Zircon corundum block, AZS means alumina/zircon/silica ,according to the ZrO2 content difference,can be named fused cast AZS 5.5 block ,fused cast AZS 12 block.fused cast AZS 36 block, fused cast AZS 33 block, fused cast AZS 41 block. Developed with the glass industrial, fused cast AZS block have been the major refractories for the glass melting gurnace, especially for the key parts of the glass furnace, such as glass tank bottom, tank wall, defecation tank, doghouse, port crown...
The main raw material of fused cast AZS block is industrial alumina powder and high purity zirconium sand which content in 65-66%, auxiliary raw material is soda and borax. after the ingredients,fusion in the three box arc furnace melting, casting, annealing,cold finshing, inspection,then to become finished products.Our company adopts oxidation method to produce fused cast AZS block,the purpose is to reduce the content of carbon in the block,this can make the carbon lower to 0.003-0.006%.The fused cast block produced by oxidation method is better than reduction method,the fused block has better resistance to glass liquid erosion.
